DSA March 11th Meeting 6:30 - 9:30 PM

STEVEN JONES will be the featured speaker at the DSA Monthly Meeting on March 11th.

STEVEN JONES is Founding Producer of Lyric Stage, which is "Dedicated to the development and preservation of the American musical."

Lyric Stage has its home base in Dupree Theater at the Irving Arts Center, and is now in its fifteenth season of musicals. Even more impressive, those fifteen seasons have included – so far – production of sixteen world premiere musicals!

Steven Jones is quite impressive himself - a man of many talents. There’s not only his main claim-to-fame as Founding Producer of Lyric Stage, but he’s also a fine singer, and member of Actor’s Equity Association. He has performed at Maine State Music Theatre, Houston’s Theatre Under the Stars, Casa Manana, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, and The Garland Summer Musicals – where last June he portrayed Cornelius Hackl in Garland’s Hello, Dolly! And this coming April and May, he will do the same role in Lyric Stage’s own Hello, Dolly! And as if that’s not enough, he also maintains his own dental practice – he is Dr. Steven Jones!
