host: José Volante José Volante is a native of Brazil
and has been in the industry since he picked up a Fender Stratocaster at
age sixteen and the rest was history. He has been an artist, singer and
guitar player and now is a producer, promoter and sometimes a personal
manager. José currently holds the position of Director of
Media and Public Relations for the Dallas Songwriters Association. José
will give us a brief history of activities and events in the DSA and how
we can help artists with the craft of songwriting through education,
contests, and personal workshops to enhance and promote artistic
creativity. About the
