1^st Place Fall Lyric

So She Cries

Though there is probably always room for improvement in any song, with "So She Cries," it is hard to find fault with any part of this lyric. It’s just plainly, a well-written lyric. By the time the 1^st line of the chorus kicks in, I was hooked. The chorus is outstanding. You can almost hear the hook, “So She Cries” sung as the asymmetrical line lengths of the chorus keep it interesting, falling on the hook with power and feeling each of the three times the hook is used. There is a smooth transition from verse to chorus to verse to chorus and bridge and back to the chorus again. A memorable lyric deserving of the 1^st place award.
