Streetwise

            But beautiful

She adds

            A little attitude

            To her roster of charms…

Some downtown sass

            In the way she walks

Some uptown class

            That can’t be taught…

It’s in the way

            She holds her head

            Knocks ‘em dead

            Turns faces red

With the veddy impropah

            Way she talks…

                                   (CHORUS)

They call her Miss Toujours L’Audace

                                    And she’s a traffic stopper

She’s a curvy, nervy, savvy lass

And there’s no one that can top her…

They call her Miss Toujours L’Audace

                                    And she’s a traffic stopper

                                    She enjoys the joy

                                    Of being a woman

                                                And she don’t mind

                                                If you make a pass

                                    Oh, no, no, no….

There’s no one that can stop her…

She’s got a bit of Brooklyn

            In her gait

A hint of Upper East Side

            In her smile

So this chic lady

            Never has to wait

                        To get a cab

                        Pick up a tab

Oh, yeah…she’s just got style!

And when she’s on

            The bedroom scene

She drives like

            A New York cabby

So look both ways

Is what I mean

And don’t step off

            The curb of Love

            Before the light turns green

            Dear Abby…

                        (Repeat Chorus)
