Judges Comments |

Some might think the judges were on drugs when choosing this lyric, but what got our attention right from the start was the uniqueness and playfulness of Prozac Girls. Yes, it’s juvenile and sounds like something rhymed out of a Dr. Zeus book, but long after we put this lyric down and went through dozens of others, its appeal drew us in again. Definitely written for an alternative punk or rock genre, when you place it in its appropriate genre, it’s easy to see this lyric catching the attention of a composer as well as thousands of young people who might hear it in song. With some rewriting, some awesome music, Prozac Girls could be heading for a successful cut. |
